All blown glass is made by a cooperative of artisans in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala out of recycled glass. The cooperative was founded in 1976 by 17 artisans. The cooperative commercializes its products in favor of the workers, always looking for the fair valuation of the work invested in the production of each handicraft piece. The hardworking people who make up the cooperative project themselves as a living testimony that it is possible to efficiently organize oneself to protect the environment of Guatemala by means of the transformation of recycled glass into useful products. | ||||||||||||||
